<p class="texto">O governo federal estuda mudar a meta do deficit fiscal na Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias (LDO), apesar de Haddad defender, desde o início do ano, que o deficit seja zerado. O presidente <a href="/politica/2023/11/6651333-lula-lamenta-morte-de-william-woods-medico-da-hanseniase-que-atuava-no-acre.html">Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva</a> já sinalizou que deve alterar o valor, para algo entre 0,25% e 0,5%.</p>

Para ele, <a href="/economia/2023/11/6651316-pacheco-diz-que-meta-de-zerar-deficit-fiscal-deve-ser-perseguida.html">caso não haja um esforço para perseguir o deficit zero</a>, isso pode aumentar o risco e tornar mais difícil estimar a situação fiscal de 2025 e 2026. "O Brasil tem um gasto público maior e uma vinculação de gastos maior do que grande parte do mundo emergente", apontou. </p>
<p class="texto">Campos Neto sinalizou ainda que a mudança na meta fiscal pode afetar a definição da taxa de juros no futuro, feita pelo <a href="/economia/2023/11/6651518-copom-divulga-ata-com-novas-indicacoes-de-ritmo-de-corte-de-juros.html">Comitê de Política Monetária (Copom)</a> do banco. "Mas depende de muitas variáveis", frisou.</p>
<p class="texto">Sobre os próximos cortes na taxa Selic, ele disse acreditar que mais dois cortes de 0,5% nas próximas reuniões do Copom são "um ritmo adequado", mas que fatores externos dificultam a previsão da trajetória dos juros.</p>

O governo federal estuda mudar a meta do deficit fiscal na Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias (LDO), apesar de Haddad defender, desde o início do ano, que o deficit seja zerado. O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva já sinalizou que deve alterar o valor, para algo entre 0,25% e 0,5%.
"A gente apoia a iniciativa do ministro Haddad de cumprir a meta", declarou Campos Neto durante evento organizado em São Paulo pelo Bradesco Asset Management. Para ele, caso não haja um esforço para perseguir o deficit zero , isso pode aumentar o risco e tornar mais difícil estimar a situação fiscal de 2025 e 2026. "O Brasil tem um gasto público maior e uma vinculação de gastos maior do que grande parte do mundo emergente", apontou.
Campos Neto sinalizou ainda que a mudança na meta fiscal pode afetar a definição da taxa de juros no futuro, feita pelo Comitê de Política Monetária (Copom) do banco. "Mas depende de muitas variáveis", frisou.
Sobre os próximos cortes na taxa Selic, ele disse acreditar que mais dois cortes de 0,5% nas próximas reuniões do Copom são "um ritmo adequado", mas que fatores externos dificultam a previsão da trajetória dos juros.
